Top Shelf Design has been working with Academic Travel Abroad in producing a series of 7 brochures dedicated to promoting the travel tours they host with the American Museum of National History.  The first 3 brochures were designed for trips to New Zealand, Egypt and Spain. Top Shelf Design used bold imagery to put an emphasis on the highlighted county, with a clean design to promote the trip.

Kettering University Launches New Website!

Kettering University is developing a financial responisiblity program for students as they prepare for the "real world." The program is one of the first of its kind, and it's also not mandatory--meaning the the materials developed for the program need to spark enough student interest to motivate participation. The design TSD created is youthful, serious and engaging in an effort to generate significant involvement.


TSD Unviels New Logo!

October 2nd, 2009

To jump start our creative process, each member of TSD created their own hand- drawn sketches of logo ideas to present to the team. The designers then took the top sketches and created concepts. Once the concepts were presented, we walked through our edit process to create the final logo.  The logo is a single line, creating three letters, with the shape of the letters carried through the logotype.  It is a creative design which represents our way of doing business!

Top Shelf Creative Director Participates in Y-Knot Program

TSD creative director, Gena Romano, has been participating in a summer-long youth arts workshop serving the Rosedale Community of NE DC. A group of 15 girls performed numbers from High School Musical as part of a larger production at the Atlas Performing Arts Center on Sunday--most of them were on stage for the first time. Gena taught a group of 4 girls graphic design during the 6-week program, and they developed promotional material for the event. The Benefit Concert was a great success and all of the profits for the night went to Interstages, a non-profit with long-term goals and roots similar to the summer program. Braunohler Design Associates, LLC launches new site! Braunohler Design interprets the client’s vision to produce aesthetic effect that will impart the desired look of a room, house or office.  TSD used clean lines and white space to showcase Braunohler’s style.  
 
Fredericksburg Smile Center’s new site goes live!  Known as the “coolest” dental office in Fredericksburg, FSC specializes in general and cosmetic dentistry.  TSD gave the site a clean look with fresh colors, vivid imagery with a splash of fun using flash!
